USB Shows Time Mode - UART2 Shows 3D Fix

My Sparkfun ZED-F9P is connected by USB but I also have UART2 connected to a USB-TTL so I can run a timeserver using the USB interface and connect u-center to UART2. Both interfaces show UBX+NMEA+RTCM input and output but when I connect using the USB u-connect shows the GPS in Time Mode, which is correct for an RTK reference station. When I connect u-connect to UART2 it shows the GPS in 3D mode but “3D Acc,” “2D Acc,” PDOP and HDOP are not displayed. Anyone know why this would happen?

Hi Rob,

When the ZED is in TIME mode, it isn’t calculating position, only time and corrections based on its fixed location. 3D Acc, HDOP etc. don’t apply.

If you enable NAV-PVT on UART2, I’m sure it too will show TIME mode.

Best wishes,

Paul

Thank you Paul, I’ll check NAV-PVT.

That was it Paul, thank you again for your help.
