Vacuum Motor Usage in Lab

Hi, I want to use vacuum motor in my lab. Is it suitable to run 24 hours ?

May I change the vacuum amount between eg. 100-350 mmHg using a DC motor speed controller?

They don’t look robust enough to run 24 hours a day but slowing them down or stopping them at the desired level of vacuum would allow you to “adjust” the level of vacuum.
