VEML6075 low power, wthtout power LED?

Hi all.

I am trying to implement as low power a useage of the VEML6075 UV sensor as I can. I would like to remove or otherwise disconnect the red power led on the QWIC UV sensor. Is this doable without pooching the overall sensor?

OK, took a chance, reviewed the schematic again and using a rework station removed the power LED. And, it still works, the sensor I mean. I may remove the I2C resistor as suggested to further cut down the power consumption although that may be so little a gain as to not be terribly worthwhile.

Hi Mark.

You could remove the resistor or the LED, either will stop current flow for that section of the board. It’s also OK to remove both. :slight_smile:
