Hello,

Is there any type of openLog ‘thing’ that

works for a cctv video feed?

I’m pretty sure there isn’t.

So, where do I begin?

I want to receive the video camera output

and store it how I want it stored and be able

to access it like any other file.

(from any other sensor)

CCTV could be a lot of different formats these days, are you talking about an analog video signal ? B/W or color or “high def” ? How many video feeds ? I think you want a ‘surveillance’ DVR or a PC w/the proper video “card”.

Could you get a RPi or similar SOC to work with the above ? A roll-your-own DVR for the most common analog signals (RS-170, etc).
