Is it possible to configure WAV Trigger to play a specific track when a button is pushed?
For example, We have 8 tracks on the SDCARD, and 8 buttons wired to the trigger inputs.
So when you push button #6, it should stop whatever is playing and start playback of track 6.
Thanks,
Lukas
Hi Lukas,
That is exactly how the [WAV Trigger works with the trigger pins if the tracks are named properly. The [Operation Section of the Hookup Guide will explain that functionality in more detail. I would recommend reading through that guide as well as Robertsonics’ [WAV Trigger User Guide to learn more about the WAV Trigger and the various ways it functions.](http://robertsonics.com/wav-trigger-online-user-guide/)](https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/wav-trigger-hookup-guide-v11#operation)](https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13660)
Im am currently struggling with an similar issue; I want to trigger each pin with a Level contact closure. I can get the first track to play but then, nothing.
Im triggering using limit switches which once they’ve been closed, will remain closed indefinetly and I thought I thought each time another pin gets “leveled” (i.e.4) even though the previous still is (i.e. 1), that it would play track 4 but, in reality nothing happens.
I tried replacing those pins from Normal to “next” function instead but when triggered as Level, NOTHING changes.
Am I chasing a unicorn here?
Your switches need to open before a new trigger can be sensed.
