Weather Shield negative values

Hi All

I’m getting strange values back from my Weather Shield that was working fine until it wasn’t.

I’ve pasted the log below can anyone suggest something to troubleshoot this with?

Humidity = -5.81%, temp_h = -51.85F, Pressure = -999.00Pa, temp_p = -1766.20F, light_lvl = 1.50V, VinPin = infV

p.s - I had this wirelessly connected to wunderground via an electric imp wifi module

Many thanks!

Was your shield exposed to the elements, high humidity, or even miscellaneous debris?

No it was in a 3d printed case I made for it in our building atrium, the redboard it was attached to seems fine .

I have access to a scope if it comes to that…

Negative values like that sometimes occur when communication has been lost between the sensors and your Arduino. Make sure the A4 and A5 lines are securely connected between the shield and Arduino and that noting else is externally connected too them.

Hi

My Weather Shield, bought a month ago, is working appropriately except for my temp_p reading which is exactly the same as posted by td4dotnet (-1766.20F). All the connections are secure, it has not be exposed to unusual temperature, humidity, moisture and has simply been sitting in its packaging since purchase. Is this a common problem, is there a fix and, if not, will Sparkfun replace it? Thanks for the help.
