On ATmega88 AVR, there is a pin called TH. standing for thermal. What is it for? I could not find any information about it in datasheet. Thanks

I can’t find it. What is the pin number?
I’m assuming this is what someone labeled the pad on the QFN and MLF parts, which should be grounded.

From EAGLE’s schematics, the pin is labeled as TH (Thermal). On board layout there is not extra pin labeled as TH but underneath the IC, there is an area. I am not sure if this area is supposed to be grounded or not. I think it is meant to dissipate heat from IC. Thanks
That pad is grounded, on most QFN chips.

It is not QFN but TQFP type of IC. Thanks
I don’t think that any AVR in TQFP has a pad. What is the part number?
