What type of ic sockets do these use?

Hi, I am interested in buying a pair of Dual Axis Gyros, namely the IDG300. I would like to know what kind and where I could possibly purchase IC sockets that can work with this device.

Thank you and good day.

Sockets for QFN packaged devices are available, but are intended for “burning-in” the chips. They are very expensive.

sparkfun has the [Sense-IDG300 which is the IC already on a breakout board, or you can try [these QFN to DIP adapters.](Prototyping IC Adapters from ePBoard Design to convert SOIC, SSOP, TSSOP, VSOP, MLP, PLCC, CLCC, QFN, SOT, SC, TVSOP, TQFP, LQFP, PQFP, VQFP, TSOPI, TSOPII to DIP.)](http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=698)

To expand on this - the ones I've seen have been in the hundreds of dollars.

well, when i ordered them, the breakout board version wasn’t offered yet. Anyway, can anyone give a site/store that actually sells these kinds of ic sockets. Thank you and good day.

Edit:

oops… didn’t see the link above… thanks :D…
