Is the MSGEQ7N (SOIC) still produced as opposed to the MSGEQ7P (PDIP) version? In the MSGEQ7 data sheet it lists both versions of the ic, but I can’t seem to find it on SparkFun’s site unless I’m looking in the wrong place. I would like to get it from SparkFun to avoid getting counterfeits, but if there are any other trusted distributors that have that part please let me know.
We only carry the -P (PDIP); you might be able to find stock here or some similar stock-searching site

Thanks for your reply! So, to be clear, SparkFun does not have SOIC units but they are produced and then sold elsewhere, or is there a finite stock floating around due to them not being readily procurable anymore?
I only know about our side of things; it looks ~15 years old so I’d assume most stock is gone…you’ll probably have to either locate some on an obscure electronics site or ebay/similar
