Which screws for mounting LCD?

I was surprised to not see recommended screws for mounting an LCD on the LCD related items page. Which screws should I use? My setup is basically a dremeled out electrical faceplate. Mounting the LCD from the back, screws going through the front. Standard 16x2 Sparkfun serial LCD.

Thoughts?

I have used 2-56 screws that I was able to find at the local Radio Shack.
