I just purchased an AVR-MT-128 (from one of your distributors, unfortunately). It powers up fine with its little test kernel. I’m wondering why OLIMEX does not publish the code for the test kernel. It would answer a lot of question concerning controlling the LCD, reading buttons, relay control, etc. I imagine that most people who buy the hardware would even be willing to pay something extra for the test kernel source.
Hi,
the test code is on our web now

 Is there any test code installed in the AVR-MT-2313 LCD screen ? I turn all 3 of the units I just purchased and nothing comes up.?
Also elsewhere there is mention of the source code
for the AVR-MT-128 but sorry guys! I must be blind as
a bat or something, because even searching don’t
fins source code for the Test (reportly programmed in)
on the AVR-MT-128 models.
Someone kindly lead this newbie idiot (and first day on this forum) by the hand, step by step to the url / location of the source code.
Thanks Grahame
The AVR-MT does not have a processor on it when it ships from Olimex. We add the ATMega2313 so there is no test code loaded onto it.
Olimex test code for the AVR-MT-128 : http://www.olimex.com/dev/soft/avr/avr-mt-128-test.zip
It’s on the Olimex site, not the SFE site - sorry for the confusion!

Thanks Nathan.
It all makes sense now…
