I have a development baseboard that currently holds a ESP32-Devkit-S3 board and a LARA-R6 LTE Stick. My programmer says that the libraries he needs which support the LARA are not nearly as complete as the SARA product, and thus we might have to modify or re-layout our LARA-R6-based baseboard.
Any chance of a similar SARA stick coming out or available somewhere?
Is the situation with LARA R6 lacking compared to SARA-R5 ?
We are designing a industrial IIoT device that requires access to cellular networks for internet comms (MQTT over TCP) in the USA, so it seems like we need LTE Cat 1 and perhaps one of the lesser IoT (Cat M?).
Any comments from anyone doing mixed u-blox and ESP32 work?
