Xbee series one module with Windows 8!

Hi,

Just trying to find out how I use the Xbee series 1 modules with Windows 8. I am just trying to get the 2 modules to link up, but windows 8 will not recognize the Xbee when connected with the explorer and when I try to use 2 Arduino main boards they still wont link. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

WIndows 8 has nothing to do with the XBees. Are you using XCTU? I read that it’s not compatible with Windows 8.

Windows 8 has no place in an embedded/wireless developer’s tools.
