ZED-F9P stuck on "3D Fix"

I’m using the ZED-F9P as a rover with the RTK Reference station as a base. They are both connected to their respective antennas and have the SiK Telemetry radios for serial data. I’ve looked through the “Setting up a Rover Base RTK System” tutorial and the hookup guides but I’m still having issues. The Telemetry radios’ lights are static green and both have the flashing red light. The ZED-F9P’s status light is static green and its position fix type is “3D FIx” which indicates it’s not receiving the RTK correction data. The “Fix Mode” in u-center says “3D/DGNSS”. Can someone please help me figure out what is wrong with my rover setup?

Hi Alfredo,

The UBX-MON-COMMS and UBX-RXM-COR messages can be very helpful when debugging RTCM corrections. You can enable these on your Rover using u-center and UBX-CFG-MSG.

These questions may help:
Is the Base outputting the correct RTCM messages?
Does the baud rate match the Base radio baud rate?
Are the TX, RX, power and Ground corrections between the Base and the radio correct?
Are the TX, RX, power and Ground corrections between the Rover and the radio correct?
Is the Rover radio receiving RTCM?
Does the baud rate match the ZED-F9P baud rate?
Is the ZED receiving and able to use the corrections? (UBX-MON-COMMS and UBX-RXM-COR will help here)

Best,
Paul

You can test the SiK radios with a direct loopback test. Connect TX to RX on one radio. Thus you can verify they are functioning correctly.

Focus on end-to-end data integrity. Check baud rates and air rates. You can use terminals attached to both radios to check you can chat.
A terminal on the Rover side should show inbound data. You don’t want to be be seeing NMEA/ASCII. You can connect to uCenter Classic, and perhaps see RTCM3 packets. A Rover can report packets via UBX-RXM-RTCM/COR type messaging.
