ZOE-M8Q power supply

Hello,

the SparkFun schematic for the ZOE-M8Q module says that the supply voltage (VCC) can be between 1.89 - 3.6 V.

Is that true? Would this module work with a 2.5V power supply?

Thanks,

Gabriel

Hi Gabriel.

That might be a typo and I don’t know that we’ve verified these work down to 1.89v. Page 19 on the [data sheet leads me to think the minimum voltage might actually be 2.7 volts. We know for sure 3.3 works, you’re probably better off using that but if you give 2.5 or 2.7 volts a try and it works, let us know.

Another thing to consider is the antenna’s power is also pulled from the same source so make sure if you’re using an active antenna it will function correctly at 2.5 - 2.7 volts.](https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/1/c/f/8/a/ZOE-M8_DataSheet__UBX-16008094_.pdf)
