A while back I found a post that mentioned that BatchPCB would be adding a 4-layer service.
Is this service available? And if so what is the pricing?

Its available. $8/sq inch + $10 setup per order [not per board or per design]

Any chance of smaller vias on the four-layer designs? 15 mils? Please?
I’ll look into it.

Thanks for the info
Is there a spec or process information on batch.com about the 4-layer option?
Like, trace width, spacing, drill limitations, etc…
Same specs as the 2 layer - 7 mil trace/space, 20 mil drill. All holes plated.

7 mil? I thought is was 8mil, did it change?
BTW, with the plated holes, will they be drilled the size I specify and plated (thus ending up smaller), or do they drill oversize so it comes out as specified after plating? I’ve been reading advice about PCB design, and it seems like some board shops do one and some do the other.

All the drills end up in one file - we have no way of knowing which ones are originally unplated. Anyhow, the undersizing will be very, very slight.

Hi David,
Any luck on 15 mil vias? I would really prefer to make a small order through SFE vs. dropping $300 on a panel for something that may not work. I just can’t make 20 mil vias work in this app.
Thanks,
Zac
Hi,
Earliest I’ll have an answer is monday.

Any word back from the manufacturer yet? Sorry to be such a pest, but there is a special ending soon that I’d like to take advantage of if BatchPCB can’t do it.
Thanks!
