A question about the LiPo Fuel Gauge

Hello!

The device LiPo Fuel Gauge is obviously configured in a fashion that predates the QWIIC style. Can it be wired thusly to that device is used to enable an I2C device like this, into the QWIIC style? I have an application looming that requires such a device and well this fellow is the only other one I have here, the other one isn’t recognized by the software running on the host device.

Sure - we have these Flexible Qwiic Cable - Breadboard Jumper (4-pin) - SparkFun Electronics (we also carry Female version, but it is out of stock at the moment…you can always use a female-to-female dupont wire to adapt/create a female end)

Wire it as labeled on the product page (blue = sda, yellow = scl, red = power, black = gnd) and run through its guide

Hello!

That will work. I was looking for confirmation here.

First example works.

I’m not going any further, because I have the board working. And that’s all I needed to accomplish this time around. I owe you TS-Russell coffee and donuts at your choice of places in NYC, and also the kind of sandwiches made famous by a certain lower east side deli.
