I have a cabinet that charges handheld LED lights. I think I can charge 12 to 15 devices. So I have 3 surge strips that have 15 transformers plugged into them. There is a lot of wires. what I was looking for is a product that is one device that I can charge 5 devices on. They use a barrel type connector. I’m told a 12v5A ac/dc transformer is needed for each one. So I’m looking for one device that I can attach cables to that has the power to charge all at once. Does such an item exist?
First, make sure that what you’re calling transformers are just straight DC power supplies and not battery chargers. Some ‘wall wart’ devices have the battery charging and monitoring circuit built in and paralleling a number of devices probably won’t work properly. If it’s just a power supply and the charging circuit is built in, you can simply use a higher current supply and charge the lights in parallel.
Depending on the connectors for the power supply input, you might be able to clean up the wiring with [a daisy chain type cable.
However, 5 amps is quite a bit of current so be sure to observe wire gauges & distance guidelines.](https://godlyke.com/products/cable-5-lead-daisy-chain)
