What exactly are you trying to do?

  • How much current do you plan to draw from the 12V side?

  • What’s the source for the 1.5V side?

  • What frequency or frequency range are you looking for?

In general, you are looking for a 1:8 ratio, so depending on what you are trying to do, perhaps a 120V - 15V power transformer wired backwards may work.
