Argggg Eagle DRC Errors!

Hello,

I’m trying to route some traces in eagle using the SF DRC file. When I run the check it is giving Width errors for every trace I run. They are are all 8mil and that is the value set for “Minimum Width”. So shouldn’t it work fine then? Perhaps Im missing something.

You’ve missed setting up your net classes. From the menu bar, select “Edit”, then “Net classes…” Set the width for default to 8 mils. If you need wider traces for power buses, they can be set up here, too.

Thanks a lot Jon! That was my problem. I’ts been a while since I’ve routed a board but I don’t remember ever messing with those settings. This is a useful feature though.
