Odd width error in Eagle

I’ve recently upgraded to eagle 5.0, so I’m not sure if this is an Eagle bug or something I’m just not understanding.

Wire width is 10mils - if a draw a random wire anywhere on the board there’s no issue, but if it comes from the middle pad on this SOT-23, then it gets flagged with a width error. DRC is set at minimum 10 mils. I can bump this guy up to 12, 16, 20 mils and still get the same error. Any suggestions?

Thats weird. I can’t offer much help but how much of a change is 5.0 from 4.x?

5.0 seems to have a few glitches here and there, most notably it crashes on me if I take a library I’ve already used in a session, modify a part in it, and try to open the lib again. Other major new change seems to be attributes, which seem pretty slick but I haven’t messed with them much yet.

You unfortunately can’t take a schematic back to 4.16rc2 after you’ve opened and saved it in 5.0. At this point I’m just going to ditch the sot-23 part and go with something else (didn’t like the part anyway).

I’ve also noticed weirdness with the copper fill border lines - it will give me this same “width” error until I crank the line thickness up to 50 mils or so. Hopefully it’ll all get ironed out.
