I have a problem regarding the connection initialization to SARA-R5 AWS IOT product. The device cannot initialized due to unknown reasons. Everytime I entered AT+CONNECT after I got OK from the endpoint settings, it will return me “ERR14 2 UNABLE TO CONNECT”, which is not the right answer, meaning that I cannot continue the steps later.
Please check your power supply. See if the voltage is adequate for the SARA-AWS.
Also try the steps here and maybe a different carrier SIM card
I have tried using direct power supply from a Rigol, It does not work still.
I have changed sim cards twice but it is still give me unable to connect? Could it be something with the original antenna or something else?
