? PLS Some Help ?
I have 2 postcards (with portability shields) and am trying to get rtk to work, it did. After using E-Pair I am unable to get a wifi signal (ssid) from the postcards when selecting configure from the portability shield menu. I have also connected to the comport using terminal and see rover accuracy and battery status messages but no menu when I press any key. I have returned firmware to the original 3.0 and everything to 3.3 with same results. I even tried 2.0, I get a gnss failure and a ssid of 'RTK Config" no mac number, that shows in wifi list but fails to connect.
I want to try using a router to extend the range, and maybe try again getting the radio port to work.
Much Thanks
I got into the wifi configuration again, but I think there’s still a bug. Wasn’t sure how I got in but this is how I found to repeat it.
I started base cast and then selected config and the ssid changed to “RTK 123456.” Connects and I can make changes.
before when I selected config the ssid was “RTK Config 123456” broke, cannot connect
after finding this I thought the problem was fixed, switched to rover and went into config the ssid changed back to “RTK Config 123456,” not showing in wifi list.
Hope this makes sense I am confused but ill accept it. and hope this helps someone else.
Thanks
Finaly have the original “RTK Config 123456” ssid back.
During my testing I made a invalid configuration and lost most function of the postcard. I used a sd card and set the postcard back to factory settings when I entered the config the original config ssid returned.
To reset to factory
Change the “SFE_Postcard_Settings_0.txt” file
sizeOfSettings=-1
Restart the postcard with the sd card installed, when “Factory Reset” message is displayed it will restart in rover and has completed the factory reset.
Strange that erase flash and loading firmware did not do this.
Hope this helps
