cheap WiFi/bluetooth dongles with the Pi

Hi, I’m planning to make a Raspberry Pi laptop/robot combo, and it needs some form of communication.

sparkfun sells a PCDuino WiFi module: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11713

and a USB Bluetooth module: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9434

And I was wondering if either/both were compatible with the Raspberry Pi. The chip on the WiFi dongle is apparently used in many WiFi modules that are compatible with the Pi, and I’m not sure about the bluetooth one. Since my project will be powered by batteries, it would also be nice to know the power consumption when idle/active.

Not all of those modules work with the RPi. I bought my USB wifi modules from Adafruit, as they are tested and known to work with the RPi
