Combining Multiple Boards to one printout

I am designing a board to make myself. and since this is only my second board i dont think i can do it with one copy for toner transfer.

How can i combine one board printout to a full 8.5x11 sheet of paper.

right now the boards themselves are 3.5x2.1 so i should be able to fit roughly eight copies on a piece of paper. this would save me eight dollars at kinkos.

the only way i can think of doing it is printing it on regular paper eight times. then use a photo copier. but there has to be a better way right?

gerbmerge will allow you to panelize your gerbers. Use your PCB CAD SW to produce a gerber and then panelize however many into a single gerber. Then use your gerber viewer (like viewmate) to print it out.

By the way, not all copiers and laser printers are 100% accurate. You will get some distortion. It usually isn’t a lot but I notice that my HP5000 is best at the center. Try printing out a a grid you make to see how accurate it is. Copiers are a bit worse because they have scanning inaccuracies.
