From what I can see here, these components can be used to build an RC car pretty cheap and easy, you can also use this stuff to make an MP3 player cheap and easy, right?

Probably not, for the same reason they never did a DIY toaster with a built in Projector 
I may have accidentally started a neverending thread about combining things that dont go together… My Next Bad idea is,
