Does Olimex AVR-JTAG-USB support AT90USB1287 (AT90USBKey)?

I’m very new to the uC scene and I recently acquired an AT90USBKey board. I also bought the AVR-JTAG-USB to program it (flash, eeprom, fuses, etc.), and managed to zap the bootloader. Now I can’t program the darned thing over the USB and apparently the AVR-JTAG-USB in its JTAGICE stealthmode doesn’t support the AT90USB1287 chip (and a whole bunch of others, too).

Is this true? Do I need to find (or, omigosh, buy for a quite a hefty price) an AVR JTAGICE mkII debugger or some other hardware to get on with my project? Can I make the programming tools in the WinAVR package or AVR Studio 4 to think they’re working with a chip that they and the “JTAGICE” supports?

I’m sorry for the obvious question. I should’ve read the docs of varying sort a bit better. Thanks for reading, tho

(Answer: No, it doesn’t support the AT90USB* chips)
