EAGLE and correcting Insufficient Annular Ring

Hi All…

I tried using the Advanced Circuits Free Drm web site and got a pile of errors, including Insufficient Annular Ring. I read the SparkFun tutorial here:

http://www.sparkfun.com/tutorials/115

I see it tells me how to avoid that error (and others) but once I have the board laid out and hand routed, is there a way to correct this without doing it all over again?

Here is the link to the results of my error check:

With the Pulsonix software I use I can make a global change to all pads of the same type. Eagle probably has something similar.

Try using an ulp script.

I’m not too familiar with eagle scripts, but hopefully this site has some answers.

How do I change the drill size globally? Many of the library parts seem to have ridiculously large drill holes. For a homebrew board or hand-drilling, click the ULP, pick drill-aid.ulp, and enter the new drill diameter (in mm). EAGLE will add a white ring inside each hole in a new layer 116.

Modify the “restring” DRC parameter.

This might also require moving some tracks around…

Thanks everyone…

In the end I decided to submit it for prototyping as is. A CAM guy from 4pcb told me that the clearence DOES actually exceed their requirements but the free DRM checker is old and has not been updated, or something like that. I’ll probably increase it before the production boards get made, unless its very clear there is plenty of room.
