Hi, I have some motors with Omni wheels out of an RC toy that only require about 2V to run at a good speed for a robot. As the toy, the motors get a little over 3V & it FLY’s across the floor! The motor controller’s that I have only operate lowest at either 3V or 4.5. Adafruit Cricket & Feather Wing
The ask; could I use a buck converter for each motor (signal from the motor controller → 5V PWM → buck converter → 2V PWM → motor) (& the same for each of 4 motors) to bring down the PWM signal from 5V to the needed 2V without messing up the PWM signal?
