I am told that Spark Fun reviews tech support on the forums. Is this correct? I made an order of a RTK Surveyor and the antenna doesn’t work. I think it is bad.
When I plug in the antenna, I don’t get PPS. If I plug in a different antenna, the RTK Surveyor will get Lock. Any ideas on how to fix it.
Troubleshooting done already:
Plugged in antenna
turned on surveyor
got nothing
unplugged antenna
plugged in a helical antenna from something else
got RTK Lock
Plugged in the antenna from the kit and tried again; got no PPS
If tightening doesn’t help it’s likely defective; head to www.sparkfun.com/returns if purchased from us or contact vendor for similar if purchased elsewhere
Sorry @whitakerz! We test the RTK units we produce for GNSS lock with a single antenna on the roof but we don’t test the individual antennas. Sounds like Russell’s got you covered.
