Hardware needed

Hey guys, I am working on a project that requires an Internet browser Java and flash and that is it. So software is going to be very minimalistic, but still needs to be maintainable, so I was going to use a Linux distro like a debloated Debian or redhat.

I need to have a touch screen interface and speed and reliability are number one priority.

I was looking into the raspberry pi, but I just don’t think it’s powerful enough to reliably deliver instant result.

Any ideas? :]

I don’t recall the specifics, but Flash Player isn’t available on some or all Linux for ARM processors (like RPi). Politics.

“Browser java” means javascript, yes?

Whereas Java is a different language.

It needs actual Java. I ended up going with a minnowboard max. It’s a Dev board running an Intel atom also has some good info on getting a touch screen running with it. I think it’s a little beefier performance wise and hopefully I can find a suitable Linux distro, I’m not too up to date on Linux that much. Any suggestions for something minimalistic, supports Java, and flash. If it can run a script to open the web browser upon start up that’s even better.

Thanks a million for your input.
