help identifying a (specific) slide switch

I have a slide switch from a Canon 50mm lens that had broken, unfortunately those pricks want $150 to fix it which is downright exorbitant for what’s broken.

Anyway, this is the item in question http://imgur.com/fR8PjA6

The slide switch is the silver thing in the middle (in case it wasn’t obvious)

It what I presume to be on-on SPST, 2.54mm pitch. 1.5mm stroke (is this measured from center to center?) Dimensions are 7mm x 3mm x 1.5mm. It connects via gull wing terminals to the board but is mechanically strengthened by two plastic prongs (this picture should make it clearer : http://imgur.com/z7hFpBp)

has anyone seen anything like it? Finding SPST switches with 2.54mm evenly spaced terminals is already hard enough =(

Searching on Digikey or Mouser might turn up something. I would try Digikey first. The switch looks to be a common item, don’t know about the plastic prongs though.

yeah you would think so but I can’t find anything like it =(. Searched whole of Digikey and RS-Online too.

[This is the closest thing I could find. Check the stroke length but everything else seems to correct.](http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/AYZ0102AGRLC/401-2012-1-ND/1640121)

Nice find. The one gm posted is the correct one. I have checked the dimensions to what you posted.
