Help panelizing

This may be the wrong forum for this, if it is, I apologize, but I don’t know where else to turn for help.

I’ve been using Batchpcb for a while now, I now want to panelize my own projects. I downloaded Gerbmerge, which also needed Python, and 2 other programs to support it. I finally got the program somewhat running last night. But this is the most confusing and difficult program that I have ever used.

I typed up a .cfg file (which takes awhile to figure out), started the program and hoped to have a panel. No such luck. I got a disclaimer (no warranty, check output before you have boards manufactured, etc etc) and press “y” to start. Then the window closes almost immediately. If there is any error messages, the window closes too fast to read them. Any insight as to why this isn’t working?

Thanks in advance for any help,

Brian

Ok I figured it out. I was missing “.bor” files. That file isn’t nessasary for BatchPCB to make boards, but Gerbmerge requires it for board outlines. After a little playing I got one of my circuit boards replicated 5 times on a panel. Now with a little tweeking to my config file, I’ll try to start adding boards until I can fit 5 or so of my projects.
