Hi all, can anyone identify the capcitor in the picture below? Its one i need to replace and is the best picture i can fond online.

A much better idea would be to take and post a closeup, focused picture of the one you need to replace.
Be sure that the photo shows the capacitor value and voltage rating. Something like this:
Unfortunately that isnt an option. The cap on the board i have blew up, nothing left to use to identify it. I’ve done a bunch of searching online, this is the best picture i could come up with… didnt know if there was enough info there for an expert to identify it or not.
Then there may be other problems to fix, before thinking about a replacement.
You haven’t given forum members anything to work with, so wild guesses is all you can expect.
If you post the board/device info we might be able to identify some components…what exactly blew up?
You’ll have to remove the broken cap to install the new one, anyway. It doesn’t have to be all at the same time and, if you can’t get it any other way (schematic, msg board) waiting to get the correct value is the right move.
I hope that’s wax, there’s a lot of it.
The one in the picture is set in resin, it is a board that’s for sale online which is similar to mine. The cap on my board popped, bit of paper and a hole left in the resin with two metal leads remaining!!
