That camera does not need to be built. It is ready to go and just plugs into the camera port on the Raspberry-Pi board.
There is also software ready to go to use this camera on the R-Pi.
Now the R-Pi does have an SD card but this is used for the R-Pi’s OS and system files. You can save images to this SD card but this is not recomended.
The R-Pi has a couple of USB ports and it would be better to use a USB Flash drive to save images.
Now if you just want a camera to record to an SD card skimask gave the answer.
