I want to build a car horn where I press a button and it will play a .wav file. I watched this video

and want to do the same thing but with “Spark Fun” accessories, is it possible? How do I get a list of parts and a wiring diagram?
This sounds like a great project. Unfortunately we don’t have a plug-n-play solution. With the exception of the Car horn, please look into the following links to help find what you may need.

When you find a part that you need for that build specifically, you can hit a ‘list’ icon on the upper portion of the product image (if you scroll over the image). You’ll need an account to save into a wish-list, but that will help keep you organized. After you’re set with parts please reference datasheets and hookup guides you can find with most of our products on each of their product pages. Please also look into the following references to help assist you in your endeavors:

This is what I am making with ADAFRUIT Co products. Do you guys have anything comparable. I wish I was more knowledgeable on this stuff. I appreciate the reply, but you lost me with the links you shared. If I am too novice for you guys that’s cool, i’ll move on.

Sorry that sounded passive-aggressive. Honestly not. I just have no idea which questions to ask, so I’m a little frustrated.
No, your response was great. There’s no such thing as too novice. It can be intimidating, try to stick with it. The topics that you’ll need to learn are soldering and electronics essentials, wireless communication, and MP3/WAV audio codec. These are dipping into beginner and intermediate topics.
We have an inclusive pillar page to help teach you soldering and electronics essentials: https://www.sparkfun.com/engineering_essentials (which I shared earlier)
Past that we don’t have parts like car horns or car key fabs. We do have switches (https://www.sparkfun.com/categories/145), DC to DC converters (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9370), MP3 Triggers (https://www.sparkfun.com/search/results?term=soundie), and wireless communication accessories (https://www.sparkfun.com/search/results … +receivers).
The difficulty is that we can’t fully support modifications to an automotive or any circuits used in an automotive. Also keep in mind that work done on an automotive can be dangerous and should be researched before attempting. My goal is to point you in a direction to begin. I sincerely hope this helps more than my previous post.
