interface gm862 with 9v car adapter??

Hi,

Anyone have any idea on how to connect a car adapter to power up the GM862?

If i connect straight straight to a 9v car adapter i thint it will burn,so what am i suppose to do in order to power up the module without damaging it while i am driving?

Any circuit i needed to add in??

Look in the GM863 users guide (the Hardware user guide, I believe). They have a page on a power supply circuit specifically for automotive applications.

But the module i am using is GM862, is it the same???

For reference supply yes, you will find everything you need in either the 862 or 863 hardware manuals.
