I recently bought the Jetson nano board from Sparkfun, so far, no lucky, it did not power up.
I have the microSD card which burn the correct image (follow official instruction), and I tried both power method.
-
power by 5V 2.5A microUSB power adapter, it has the LED light on, then LED off after couple of seconds.
-
power by 5V 4A power adapter, it has not show me any light on
Neither method can power it up, I hooked to monitor by HDMI.
Anybody can give me some hint, do I miss something important? If so, what I missed, if not, what may be wrong.
Thank you.

That would indicate your USB power source either can't supply enough current for the Jetson or that it thinks the Jetson isn't drawing enough current to keep the power source active.

Did you close the [[jumper on the board](https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/power-supply-considerations-for-jetson-nano-developer-kit/71637) that switches it between USB and barrel jack power? Without that, the Jetson won't work at all with barrel jack power.](https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/power-supply-considerations-for-jetson-nano-developer-kit/71637)

I am having this same problem. Were you able to find a solution?
