L1 Frequency range disparity for SPK6618H / GPS-21801

In trying to decide which GPS receiver to buy, I’m trying to reconcile the frequency range starting point for the SPK6618H as shown in the attached datasheet table (1550 mhz) vs the graph (1540 mhz).

Am I reading that disparity correctly or am I missing something?

If the disparity is correct, does anyone know which number is the correct starting point?

This is all related to deciding between the SPK6618H and the TOP106. The TOP106 has an L1 range of 1555 to 1615MHz.

Eh, it depends on what you mean by discrepancy…the real deal is the actual graph, note that both response ranges graphed show positive gain for the reported ranges of 1150-1300 and 1550-1610, being slightly more broad than the advertised range for all values (note all points where the blue line crosses the X-axis), along with the sample measurements 1-6 showing 18+ dBi for all 6 that are given in the graph

To simplify things for you, though: The SPK6618H is a better antenna, especially for the $

Welcome wateka!

Thank you for pointing out the discrepancy. TS-Russel is spot on, the graph shows the actual performance; the table has a typo. I’ll work with our team to get the datasheet updated.
