Hello,
I got a Lipo Charger/Booster for my project. I want to use an external switch on the enable pin and I also want to use the Charger PTH Input (However, currently I am using the USB port). I have a jumper in the external switch through holes and the onboard switch in the off position. I have attached a picture of my current hookup
When I am charging with the USB I have both switches off. The blue charging light turns on but never turns off. I charged the battery for about 3 hours. When I turn the booster on via the external switch, nothing happens. I have tried turning the onboard switch on/off and different batteries.
I believe I have the setup correct based on the hookup guide. I want it so that even if someone forgets to shut the load off and puts it on the charger, that no power will be going to the load so from my understanding I put the switch on the enable pin. Could it be the type of switch I am using that causes no power to the load? If that was the case, why doesn’t the blue LED turn off? Any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated!
