Lipo Charger/Booster Questions

Just a couple quick questions about the SparkFun LiPo Charger/Booster - 5V/1A:

  1. Does the charging stop when the battery reaches full charge?

  2. What happens if there is power going to the load but the battery is also being charged? (my understanding is that the battery will not be charging but just wanted to make sure)

1 - Yes, @ 4.2v (across the battery pins)

Thank you for your response.

I will be putting a switch on the board and I want it so that even if someone forgets to shut the load off and puts it on the charger, that no power will be going to the load. Would that mean I should connect a switch to the Enable and ground pins?
