I would like to know if with the addition of the TCP Server/Client functionality, there is the possibility of using the RTK FACET as BASE for drone corrections by opening its own connection/port with relative mountpoint and sending them to drone.
Looking online (https://mettatec.com/online-store/uncat … urpad-app/) I see GNSS with same GPS which include this possibility it would be a great help when in the field it is not always possible to using an internet connection. All this would make the drone mapping system autonomous, and it would be very helpuful in the various process.
Hello Daniel, I read through the mettatec documentation, it doesn’t mention the accuracy of the local Ntrip data. Could just be a single solution with relative accuracy to the base?
PPP I believe can be used worldwide, I think there is a European service available. I know the Australian service covers Asia.
I thought of connecting a Facet to a laptop running an Ntrip server which could send corrections to the Base Facet using the Ntrip client, I’m not sure this would work? I’m hoping someone smarter than me will chime in.
If I used a WiFi hotspot to connect all of the devices to form a local area network without internet connection, could this be possible?
