I recently purchased a LTE Cat M1/NB-loT Shield for a project that I’m working on for school. I’m having some problems trying to get the shield to communicate with my raspberry pi. I set up the shield for a USB interface according to the hook-up guide that is provided on the sparkfun website. It also says in the hookup guide that the board is compatibable with a raspberry pi. However whenever I connect the Shield to my pi via USB, the pi can’t find or recognize that the shield is connected to it. I’ve used the “lsusb” and “dmesg” commands in the terminal and still nothing was there related to the shield. I also can’t find any drivers on the internet that I might need install on the pi for a USB interface.
Any help would be appreciated.
