Has Sparkfun considered creating some sort of breakout for an LVDS driver (or tx/rx pair). Given the abundance of LVDS lcds (or other uses) and the lack of LVDS IO on microcontrollers combined with my lack of desire to design such a board myself means this is a great opportunity for sparkfun.
Something like a MAX9112 would generally useful for LVDS but a breakout for a National DS90C385A would be groovy as well.

This would be awesome, I have a very nice large LVDS screen I would love to use.
Isn’t a uC far too slow for the multi-megabits needed for video?
Only a few displays (typically for mobile devices) have internal ram buffers and can work in a (lower speed??) ‘command mode’.
