messed up board...soldering directly onto ground plane

When I sent in my latest set of boards, I forgot to connect a few connections to the ground plane on the other side. There is a via, but the net is not set to ground, so on the ground plane side, there is a soldermask between the trace and the ground plane. Is there any way to bypass this and manually solder the trace to the ground plane?

Thanks!

I’d just bridge it with a piece of wire. Drill some holes if necessary.

The problem is that I can’t get solder to stick to the ground plane. Any idea on that?

Just scratch through the solder mask (the green stuff).

Or, find a hole that is tied to ground, and solder a wire to that.

It is ugly, but scratching off the mask lets me solder onto the ground plane ok… thanks for the suggestion
