One of my pins is connected to ground when it shouldn’t be. There is a ground pour and the line is isolated, but there is what looks to be a tiny imperfection over the line. Can that be the problem? I realize this is not much information, but I thought that maybe someone would have experience with this sort of problem and might know the phenomenon I describe. Thanks for any help.
Look at gerber file for the bottom copper layer (or top, if that is where the imperfection occurs). If the imperfection is NOT there, then it is a mistake at the board house; but if you see it in the file, then you have made a mistake in your routing. Did your design pass the Eagle DRC? If so, then you might have a mistake on your schematic.

Thanks. I gave up trying to figure it out. Instead I desoldered the pieces and put them on the second copy of the board. The second copy did not have the imperfection. And soldering the pieces on that board worked. So I figure it was a problem with the board.
