I was wondering what is the easiest way to output sound and light from a microbit. Is it the gator board? I am using microbits in a classroom with 11 year olds.

The [SparkFun gator:bit v2.0 would probably be the easiest way to add colored light and sound to a micro:bit. :-)The gator:bit would save you from having to manually wire a buzzer and LED to the micro:bit and all you need to do is plug the two together and write a little bit of code.](https://www.sparkfun.com/products/15162)
