Gator:bit P0/P1 Low voltage

Hi,

P0 and P1 are not working on the gator:bit as the micro:bit doesn’t recognize when they are activated through the gator:bit.

I just received my order, but the gator:bit gives a voltage ~0.9V on P0 and P1 (P2 is ~1.2V btw). However, P0 and P1 work fine on the micro:bit directly (>1V). Changing the power source of the gator:bit to 9V didn’t make a difference. How can this be resolved to have full use of the P0/P1 pins?

Thanks,

James

Is the ‘music’ switch off? If you have a multimeter available, you can test the diodes to see if perhaps there’s a defect in a component

Turning the ‘music’ switch on drops the P0 voltage to zero. I am using a multi-meter to measure the voltage. Defect was my first assumption. How to I go about getting it replaced?
