MicroMod Asset Tracker upload via COM port stopped working

Hello,

I have the MicroMod Asset Tracker carrier board with a samd51 processor plugged into it. I’ve been using Arduino IDE 2.0 to upload programs to it via my Windows 10 COM port. I’ve been doing this for several days with no problem. I can still upload programs to my Nicla Sense board, but not the Asset Tracker. They do have different cables, as the Asset Tracker has a USB-C connector and the Nicla has a USB- micro. I’ve tried rebooting my computer twice.

I noted that before I did any uploads today, my Arduino IDE had me install the latest updates for the SARA R5, i.e. for the Asset Tracker board.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?

I found the solution. There is a “reset” button on the Asset Tracker board. I hit that just before uploading and it worked again.
