I am pretty deaf, and I like to listen to live music (part of the reason I am deaf). Wearing ear plugs is a must, but they destroy the sound, so I am looking to make a headphone amp I can wear around my neck that I can connect to ear plug headphones like musicians wear. What I am looking for is small microphones to use for the amp. The two requirements is that they need to not distort when used in a loud environment like a concert, and they need to be small to fit inside a small device I will hang around my neck.
I think SparkFun is not the right place to look for your desired mini mic. They sell project components. But you need a ready product.
Thanks, but I am looking to build a device. What I am looking for is something like this: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8635 that will handle say 100db without distorting. For example, if you ever watch a concert video recorded via a phone, you will hear that the music is typically very distorted. I don’t want that.
